Dinner in Lanzerhide, Adelaide (Fri., 31 October 2008)

Went to this beautiful fine dining restaurant call Lanzerhide for dinner last night, organized by the 'Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors' (AIQS).. and as my boss was receiving an award from the board of QS, our dinner last night was on the company! =)

Had three course meal last night and the food was great!!!!!

A shot of the menu..... ummm which i know can't be read... but would like to post anyway =P
The blue pen on the right was a souvenior pen given by the board of QS...
Entree: It's a prawn with rice dish which most people had for starters... i was tempted to have this as well but wanted something different...

Entree: I opted for this asparagus with pine nuts and cheese instead... the asparagus was so crunchy and juicy!!! Went very well with the slightly browned cheese!!!

Main Course: An option for the main course was this pan fried salmon..... which i didn't order but looked yummy!

Main Course: Some of my colleagues who were hungry and thought salmon was abit too 'light', ordered this chicken dish instead.. which wasn't my choice of main course either.. =P

Main Course: For those of you who know me, i am a beef and lamb person.... So, for my main course that night, i couldn't resist in ordering my medium rare beef!!!!
The beef was so tender.. and all the side dish (steamed vegetables and potato pancake) was perfect!

Another picture of my medium rare beef accompanied by some seeded mustard and a glass of red wine..

Dessert: Most people that night ordered this dessert plate which looks yummy... i on the other hand, went for something different and more fattening! =P

Dessert: I could not help myself from ordering this cheese selection! It came with crackers and fruits!!! I could hardly talk as i was savouring each cheese bite!

After our meal, you have a choice of coffee or tea.... it came with some delicious 'Lindts' milk chocolate...

With some of my colleagues... standing from left is Angelina, with Stefi beside her (both from Sarawak).. and the happy gentleman sitting down is Neil (from New Zealand)..

With Stefi.. think she was trying to concerntrate on something.. =P
My current boss, Chris Sale... receiving an award from the AIQS
