Another fishing trip to Tailem Bend, Jervois Ferry Road (Thurs, 1 Jan. 2009)

After our frist trip to Jervois Ferry Road, we enjoyed it so much and although we did not catch many fishes, just the scenery alone beacon us back. I reacon this will be our favourite spot to fish for now. Also, after catching these huge fishes in the Murry River, fishes on the jetty by the beach don't seem to be challenging anymore.. like Alvin say, fishing on the jetty does not have that much of a fight =)

Alvin preparing food the night before... he prepared and i supervised... good team work! =)

Scenic view of Princess Highway which leads us to Murray River... this highway also leads up to Melbourne..

Another scenic view...

Our first catch of the day... if you thought the European Carp Alvin caught the other day (31 Dec. 2008) was huge, look at this European Carp caught by ME!! It's at least 5kg! It was so heavy that i couldn't carry it on my own to take a good picture... so i had Alvin carry it for me... =)

Look how big was the fish!.. All the way to my waist!!

Not bad size isn't it?.. Faught this fish till my hands hurt!

As European Carps can't be returned to the water alive and it was too big for the Pelicans to swallow, Alvin was so kind to fillet the fish and feed them to the Pelicans...

Alvin throwing a piece of the fillet European Carp to the Pelicans

Look at the Pelicans fighting for the piece of Carp!

HAHAHAHAHAHA... What's this? Well, it was Alvin's catch for the day.. a Redfin Perch, which is also considered a pest and can't be returned to the water alive... he fed it to the Seagulls

We manage to notice this small sea snake swimming right in front of us!
