Fishing trip at Nildottie (30 mins off Murray Bridge) (Sat, 3 January 2009)

Another quality fishing time with Foo Sook. This time it is to another spot on the Murray River at a place called Nildottie. This place is near a small tourist town called Walkers Flat, which is allocated about half an hour drive from Murray Bridge. This is our first fresh water fishing trip with Foo Sook.

Foo Sook with one of his three European Carps caught.. this is a small 3.5kg Carp

Me with my first and only Yellow Belly Perch (Callop) caught for the day.. It's a good 1.3kg table size fish. It's suppose to be very good eating... let's see.....

My catch of the day, prepared by Master Chef Foo, before steaming..

After steaming for 15 minutes, my fish is ready for all to enjoy... it was perfecto!
Now i understand why people say that your own catch taste sweeter... =P

P/S: Noticed there was no picture of Alvin in this blog.. this is because he only caught one tiny European Carp (about 2kg) and he is too embarrased to show it to the public...
