It was a Monday night in June 2007 where Alvin and i first met in a DJ mamak . We were introduced by my sister Hooi Min and his friend Nien Yi. Further into our relationship, we decided to spend the rest of our lives together... and since i hold an Australian PR and have been in Adelaide, South Australia for 6 years (year 1999 - 2004), we thought... why not start our lives together in Australia?! After long chats, considerations and landing in a good job offer in Adelaide, we then announced to our families regarding our engagement and starting a life in Adelaide...both of our parents were supportive and gave us their blessings... which is of the utmost importance to us!
Since we will be away from our families soon, Alvin and i decided to start a blog so that our families (in Malaysia as well as overseas) and close friends will be able to read updates on what we have been up to in Australia. Until we move to Australia, we will be posting blogs on our current activities in KL and Kuantan... our transaction from KL to Australia.....

Congratulations again to the young couple. If Alvin's paternal grandparents are alive today, your wedding celebration would lasts for days or weeks. Well, my dears, am waiting to be a grand aunt soon. Thinking of spending your honeymoon in US? I can convert one of our bedrooms to a bridal suite for you. Serious. You can have a Hollywood style wedding.:). If you think Alvin's dad can sing, you should hear me. I am next to Nora Jones and I can dance too.
Love all the pictures but angry and hungry when reminded of all the scrumptious food that I am missing.

heard that you will be in KL end of October.. unfortunately, i cant delay my trip to australia as i am to report to work on the 13 October... so sorry...
however, Alvin did mention to me about our honeymoon in US where u are at.. and of course.. I AGREED =) As we plan to have our wedding ceremony in Malaysia end of next year, will keep in touch on our honeymoon to US after the ceremony.. if your invitation still stands =P
I didn't know that the Cheongs are good singers... Alvin is not too bad himself =P hope to hear you sing one day... =)
